Keep your place in the puzzle

A clear grid helps you see both an individual number and the row, column, or box it belongs to. Sudoku Large gives each part of the board a consistent structure.

A light background keeps the puzzle simple. Dark digits stand apart from the cells, and stronger lines mark the nine boxes.

Follow the row you’re reading

Sudoku often asks you to move your attention across the board. You might start in an empty cell, scan its row, then check its column. Consistent spacing and visible boundaries help you find your way back.

The lines between neighboring cells stay lighter than the lines around each box. That distinction gives you a useful landmark without making every part of the grid equally heavy.

See the nine boxes clearly

Every cell belongs to one 3 × 3 box. When you can see that box at a glance, it is easier to compare the digits inside it and identify what is missing.

Try looking at the app preview. Choose a corner cell, follow its row, then find its box. These are the same movements you make when working out which numbers fit an empty square.

Keep the screen focused

The puzzle’s numbers and boundaries do the visual work. A restrained color palette leaves room for the logic, from your first scan of the clues to your final check of the board.
